Bass

Jeff started playing bass at the age of 13. Starting with lessons from a great guitar teacher named George Cole. From there he played with various bands and then hooked up with Danny Jones (guitarist) and Dave Tweedy (drummer) to form DJB. The band won KRQR’s “Best of the Bay” honors two years in a row. Looking the further his education, Jeff studied with Dewayne Pate an accomplished jazz bassist here in the Bay Area for two years and then he enrolled in the Bass Program at Musicians Institute(MIT) in Hollywood. While in L.A. Jeff gigged with various bands doing Rock, R&B, Country & Jazz. Jeff decided to return to the Bay Area where he recently studied with the great Kai Eckhardt. Jeff has been gigging non-stop having had the pleasure to share the stage with Dwight Yoakam, Kenny Chesney, Rodney Atkins, Pat Travers to name a few. Check him out on Facebook and at www.
